First settled in 1867 La Conner is the one of the oldest communities in Skagit County. Both the rainbow bridge that spans the Swinomish Channel and the town of La Conner itself are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. La Conner is not only home to history but home to many acclaimed artists with a thriving community full of art studios, retail shops, museums and eateries.
